When we last saw our heroes, they had just taken the Sims University Aptitude test and received 6 credits toward the completion of their respective degrees! Will they get too juiced to take their exams? Find out today!

Happy Spooky Day from Maria and Angelo Venezia!

We were both very excited to begin our degrees! We rented a cottage on the edge of campus.

Maria loved taking classes in the Science building! She found the subject matter to be fascinating!

Angelo enjoyed his classes well enough, but was unsure how studying Business would make him a better teacher and felt out of place.

Maria had fun learning how to use the machine to analyze samples and conduct biological experiments.

Not only did Angelo enjoy making a business plan, but he realized it was quite similar to making lesson plans!

Maria enjoyed using her skeleton – whom she named Dr. McCoy – to study anatomy.

Angelo found a very unique seed unlike anything he’d ever seen before and decided to take it home to show Maria.

We were early for the movie we’d come to see, so we took a fun, informative tour of the theater.

Maria tried to stay awake, but it was no use! She slept through her lecture. (It would help if it weren’t so early!)

The Business lecture seemed a whole lot more interesting once Angelo understood how the subject matter was relevant to his career in education!

Angelo enjoyed presenting his business plan. It was a lot like teaching!

Once she’d learned how to use the machine, Maria thoroughly enjoyed analyzing insect samples!

Maria was very happy to receive an A for the term!

We used our free time at the end of term to relax and play Frisbee.

Maria was glad to return home and find the house still in one piece.

Angelo was almost disappointed to be home after having so many interesting experiences at University.

Maria was surprised to find a legendary death flower! She picked it in hopes that, should disaster strike, Death would spare her when she presented it to him.

Angelo went pumpkin picking so we could carve Jack-o-Lanterns for Spooky Day.

Maria saw a ghost inside her house – and during morning daylight hours, too!

As a result of his improved lesson planning and teaching abilities, Angelo was asked to teach full time in the middle school!

Maria enjoyed swimming in the indoor heated community pool. What better way to spend a cold, rainy afternoon?

Maria had a great time carving her Jack-o-Lantern in preparation for Spooky Day! She tried to make her pumpkin look evil…

We didn’t have much to spend on Spooky Day costumes, so we worked with items we had or could access easily. Maria “borrowed” a hospital gown so she could dress up as a patient; Angelo tore some old clothing and grew out his hair to look like a werewolf.

We were so glad we threw a feast party for all our friends in honor of Spooky Day! Everyone seemed to have a great time.

Angelo liked not having to shave every day, so he decided to grow a beard.

Maria was annoyed that the toilet had clogged, but proud that she was able to fix the problem herself.

We were very excited to return to University to complete our degrees!

Angelo was happy to give a presentation to help new students acclimate to University life.

Maria loved playing video games at the student union building so much, she was inspired to create a similar venue in Moonlight Falls!

Clearly eating the “free” candy bar was a bad idea!

Maria felt fantastic after leading a successful protest against low wages!

Doing a keg stand at a party was the most ridiculous thing Maria had ever done!

Angelo was so bored at the party, he decided to take a nap!

Finally! Maria had a lecture that was interesting enough to stay awake for!

Angelo enjoyed practicing chess outside on a nice day.

Maria was psyched to take her final exams, which would determine the outcome of her entire time at University!

After taking his final exams, Angelo felt a sense of peace. What was done was done; his grade was now out of his hands!

Maria was thrilled to receive an A for the term and thus complete her Science and Medicine Degree with an A!!!

We were very happy and proud to graduate from University and return home to Moonlight Falls for good.

Thanks to his Business Degree, Angelo was promoted to High School Teacher! He also received a significant raise in recognition of his excellent grades.

So yeah… this and a lot of my playing The Sims 3 is all about wish fulfillment. I want to do well in school and actually complete my degree! And I want Fox to do the same. Upon graduating, I want us both to have fulfilling careers that pay well.

Spending quality time together and with friends is important to us both. I’ve always loved Halloween and the traditions associated with it, especially carving Jack-o-Lanterns and dressing up. I haven’t been able to dress up for Halloween the past few years, so I take dressing my sims up for Spooky Day very seriously.

I’ve also been questioning my and Fox’s ability to complete our degrees and enter our careers of choice. We can’t just take the classes we still need because I have to wait for mine to be offered again and he needs to fulfill prerequisites. While I’m waiting I need to recover from my anxious depression enough to get through a class without thinking I should hurt myself.

We both need to complete an internship and neither of us feels particularly confident in that department. (Honestly I don’t think completing the internship will be an issue. The problem is acquiring it!) I don’t even want to think about finding paid employment while we’re still in school.

Reality is just really gross, I want nothing to do with it! I feel like I have no control over my life. I don’t really have a lot of control over The Sims 3 game either, but at least I get to tell the sims what to do!
